One of the greatest pleasures of living in Central Switzerland is that we are surrounded by great ski resorts. Snow is on its way and predicted for this weekend, so we have gathered 21+ local ski resorts for you to choose from.
A quick tip if you are planning on going skiing or snowboarding at least 20 times this winter then you may want to look into a Schneepass Ticket that is valid for 14 local ski resorts. Costs are: CHF 1’130 – adults, CHF 1’015 – seniors, CHF 790 – 16-19 years, CHF 495 – 6-15 years. There are also winter and summer combined passes and reduced prices for youth/children’s passes when at least one adult pass is purchased. More details here.
In order to help you decide where to go here are the beginning of season dates for some of the local ski areas, just note that the resorts seem to have become a lot more flexible and opening dates seem to be dictated by the amount of snow, so do check the resort’s website before you go there especially beginning of December.
For last minute savings check individual resort websites for season passes that are reduced until 30 November.
