Did you know that we have a deer park right in town? The Hirschpark Luzern is located just behind the kantonspital and cemetery and it is celebrating its 400 year jubilee until June 20.
You can take the bus 18 or 19 to the “Friedenthal” bus stop and walk from there to see the deers, or if you go to the townhall and into their courtyard you can visit the chapel where several activities based around the theme of deers will be held until June 20. Including a Mexican deer Dance on Sunday at 16:00.
So if you need to escape the city buzz then go and visit this little known park.
