Our first workshop run by J.I.F.F. was a great success. The 12 attendees coming from all backgrounds and nationalities were given a four hour crash course in understanding the Swiss job market and the way local human resources operates. Diego, our workshop leader, compared the attendees to athletes entering a race where only the gold medal (getting a job) would count. With tips, strategies and sound advice he was able to set them on the right path. Our second workshop will be beginning of July and will address writing a C.V. the Swiss way.
For those who couldn’t attend but wanted to, there is good news as it looks more than likely that this pilot workshop will be repeated in the fall.
