Switzerland has qualified for the 2022 Football World Cup, after playing against Bulgaria in Lucerne and winning 4 – nill. Captain Murat Yakin managed a relative young team to victory, knocking European champions Italy out of the world cup.

As of today people can be tested for Covid-19 antibodies and receive a Covid certificate which is valid for 3 months, people who have recovered from the virus also see their certificates extended from 6 to 12 months both will only be valid in Switzerland. You can read about it here.

“It takes two to tango” is how EU commission vice-president, Maros Sefcovic started the new talks with our foreign affairs minister, Ignazio Cassis. The goal is to find a way to save the relation between Switzerland and the EU. The EU did not show great hope for a breakthrough, but “where there is a will, there is a way”?
