What’s On – July 6 to 9

Lucerne Regatta 2023

The 2023 World Rowing Cup III, the Lucerne Regatta, is this weekend from 7 – 9 July. It is the final of a three part event which has taken place this summer. The event is hosted at Rotsee Lake, just north of the city centre, with Grand Stand and VIP tickets available to buy on the website.

Cinéma Lunaire at the Richard Wagner Museum

Tonight and tomorrow night (6 and 7 July) you can enjoy a film outside at the Richard Wagner Museum. The film of choice is ‘Sometimes I don’t know where the sun’ / MANCHMAL WEISS ICH NICHT WO DIE SONNE. There is a collection and the films start at 9:30pm. Head to the website here.

Züri Fäscht

If you fancy a day out from Lucerne, head to the Züri Fäscht taking place in the centre of Zurich on the 7-9 July. This huge festival is attended by many, with activities including a folk festival, fair, music, parties and fireworks. There’s lots to do and see, and is guaranteed to be a lively event. Rosenfest Weggis

Just a short drive or train ride from Lucerne takes you to the beautiful town of Weggis where this weekend the Rosenfest is being held. Filled with live music, food, fireworks and a Rose Queen, entry is just CHF 20. If you plan to go, make sure you’re prepared for the sun as it looks like it’s going to be a warm weekend!
