We are proud to be celebrating the LiLi Centre’s first anniversary. The last year has been full of laughter and surprises, wonderful partnerships and friendships. We were overwhelmed by the positive response our project had within the local community and have, along the way, met wonderful people. We have helped many ease into their life here or start a new chapter. Programmes have developed in response to demand and we now are able to boast a truly varied weekly schedule addressing many different segments of the population. Our featured events are just as successful, whether they be culinary events, career focused workshops or sporty events.
We truly are a community centre not only running our own programmes but also by being the home of several organisations in the region: the Alliance Française, Swiss American Society of Lucerne, the Lucerne World Theatre Company, Job Integration For Foreigners, HSK English School of Lucerne, Swiss International Volunteer Organisation, Loolaba & Stand Up Paddling Club of Lucerne are just some of the organisations to use our facilities.
None of this would have been possible without the many volunteers who have given their time to fix the centre up or come and keep the centre open and help others in return.
We are looking forward to the many years ahead, hoping to continue to grow and be of service to this wonderful community of international residents and locals.

In order to celebrate we will have an open door day on Saturday June 10th from 9:00 to 22:00. We will have food and drinks throughout the day, a variety of workshops as well as entertainment and a raffle for a myriad of wonderful prizes. Be sure to drop by, we are waiting to celebrate with you!
