February is here and that means that Fasnacht is just around the corner! The LiLi Centre will be officially closed for two weeks from the 3. – 18. February but will return with an action-packed calendar including our AGM, a brand new A2 German Conversation Class, a new Yoga group, Women’s Circle, Lunar New Year Celebration and much more!

Grief Circle February 2024 (online)
Have you lost an important person, role, community, or aspect of your life that may be difficult to talk about or for others to understand? Are you looking for a protected space where you can ask questions, talk about, or hear more about the topics grief and loss? This is not limited to death, but can also include a wider range of loss that have ripple effects in different areas of our lives. There are many kinds of loss and many layers of grief, and navigating grieving can be a complex and isolating process. If you are looking for a supportive environment where you can explore your own voice and own way through grief, and be with others also dealing with grief and loss, come join us. This group is structured and supported by a psychologist who also has lived grief experiences.
This support group is virtual, to allow those of you further away or with busy schedules to also join us. Upon receiving your registration and payment a zoom link will be sent to you the day of the meeting.

On Monday 19th February at 19:00 we will be hosting our Annual General Meeting at the LiLi Centre. We would like to invite all of our members to attend this important evening where we will take a look at the achievements of last year and discuss the aims for the coming year.

German Conversation Class A2: Intensiv sprechen für Alltag und Beruf
You want to speak German well in a short time. This course gives you intensive training and allows you to practise quickly. You talk about everyday situations, the news or topics that interest you. You practise speaking and discussing a topic. The course leader motivates you, improves your pronunciation and you learn new words. You learn in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Goals:
- You understand typical questions with friends or at work
- You can answer simple questions
- You can paraphrase words and situations
- You feel confident in conversations
- Your pronunciation and sentence structure are understandable

This is a community dedicated to sharing support around the topic of ADHD. Whether you have been formally diagnosed or not, you are welcome to attend. Furthermore, parents of children with ADHD are also welcome. This confidential group is facilitated by clinical psychologist Dr. Elizabeth Frei and is open to those who have questions or resources to share about living with a neurotype that the world is not necessarily set up to support.

On Saturday 24th February we will celebrate the Lunar New Year at the LiLi Centre with a day of fun activities and delicious food!
The programme will include:
- Mah-Jong Workshop
Mah-Jong is essentially a game that involves lots of tiles. The game’s objective is to get a series of special tile combinations and you win. The game can be played anytime, anywhere, but it’s particularly popular during the Chinese New Year holiday.
- Craft for Kids
Red Pocket (Hong Bao) – Older and senior members of
the family give the younger ones good luck pocket
money known as Ya Sui Qian (压岁钱) contained in a red
envelope (Hong Bao 红包). Kids Age: 4+ (under 4 with the help of parents)
- Chinese banquet-style buffet dinner
- Wealth of God & Lion Dance

ABC Kids
ABC Art Classes for Kids will return to the LiLi Centre after the Fasnacht break! The art classes have been designed by our expert art tutors who come with educational backgrounds and over 20 years of teaching experience. Classes are fun and engaging. We understand that young art students need to express themselves through drawing and painting, and our courses are designed to provide them with tuition that can cultivate their creative approach to the world.
The small groups (maximum of 10 students per art class) allow us to dedicate the necessary time that is needed for the development of each student and create a friendly, happy learning environment.
