December at the LiLi Centre

Christmas is almost here so we are happy to invite you to our Pop Up Market Opening on Saturday, 4th of December, at 12 pm. There will be plenty of other activities during that day such as Cookie Decoration, meeting Santa, freshly cooked lunches, and delicious hot chocolate, so make sure to sign up as places are limited. 

The Centre will be closed on the 8th of December and then during Winter Holidays between 18 December – 2 January. We hope to see you all next year safe and sound!

Don’t forget to check our weekly menu for a delicious lunch and our website for our regular activities and sign up for your favorite events.

As for the new Covid regulations, the certificate check is required when entering the Centre along with a mask which you are allowed to take off while seated / consuming foods or drinks. Please register upon arrival, sanitize your hands and keep social distance.

3. December – Feel Good Friday

Have you ever noticed that some life patterns keep repeating over and over again? Perhaps some of these patterns are not exactly what you want to see more of. The good news is you can learn how to reprogram your mind and have your subconscious mind work for you, not against you. Set yourself up for thriving this December!
This month Feel Good Friday also coincides with the New Moon, therefore we will be utilizing this special time to discover what really lights you up and how to bring more of that into your everyday life.

4. December Recovery Sharing Circle for Women (Online)

A safe space to connect and heal ONLINE

This new facilitated group is for women who are in or seeking recovery in all areas of life and have a common desire to explore and learn, listen more deeply to themselves and others, share experiences and resources as well as have the opportunity to find and use their voice.

Our intention is to reduce stigma, support individual choice in how to heal and thrive through holistic pathways in order to find health, happiness and sustain long-term recovery.

7. December – Suicide Grief Support Group for Youth (Online)

Dear all, please take time to go through the registration questions below to apply for our grief support group (Tuesdays 4:30-6PM) offered by psychologists, Dr. Brandi Eijsermans and Tünde Kassai, in coordination with the LiLi Center and Nebel Meer the Swiss online suicide-affected community.The purpose of these questions is to have a better understanding of your background and situation, as well as to make sure that the proposed support group is the right fit for your unique, personal needs. Thank you for your cooperation.

9. December – Low Cost and No Cost Counseling Services

Do you need someone to talk to, some guidance, or emotional support? We are here to help. The Mental Health Initiative is proud to work with Webster University and their Counseling Center to serve the LiLi Centre community.

We are now offering affordable in-person or tele-counseling sessions. Fee – 25 CHF for those who can afford it. Reductions available based on need. We offer free of charge therapy sessions for Lili Members only.

Additionally, online sessions with Dr. Brandi Eijsermans are available Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 11:00am and again from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

9. December – International Book Club

How about getting together once a month to discuss novels featuring different countries and cultures by authors from all over the world? We will make our way around the globe, exploring and exchanging our thoughts.

Our International Book Club will meet again on December 9.  The book for this month will be Daughter of Fortune, by Isabel Allende.
