Last year the flea market along the Reuss was cancelled because, in its current position, social distancing was hard to keep. This is why the city has decided to move the flea market to the Vögeligarten from July 3 to end of October from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be room for 45 stands each with a floor space of 6 m2 . You can apply for a yearly pass costing CHF 450.- or for a daily pass for CHF 28.- three weeks in advance. Booking will be available as of June 12.

Tupperware anyone? The american company Tupperware has chosen to set up its European headquarters from July in the canton of Lucerne and will be creating 50 jobs in marketing, finance and supply chain. Now that’s good news just before Easter, right?

Yesterday saw the warmest temperatures registered for the month of March in many parts of the country, 24° in Basel and Sitten, 23° in Geneva and 22° in Lugano but also 16° in Zermatt and 18° in Disentis. The warm temperatures will continue for the rest of the week.
