The Luzern Stadtlauf remains a favourite with a great atmosphere and, more often than not, great weather. Well done to all we know who took part!

The LUGA also got off to a great start with fantastic weather enticing large crowds over the weekend, if you haven’t been able to go yet you have until this Sunday to go and enjoy the farmer’s market and Luna Park.

352 people are currently registered as dangerous in the police database in the canton of Lucerne. The database was implemented last year and it has given the police the right to act before a crime is committed. Potential victims can be forewarned that they are interacting with someone who is potentially dangerous. The Frauenhaus, women’s crisis centre, says that since the implementation of this database they have seen positive effect on victims.
