Znüni News – Monday 21 February 2022

After storm Eunice caused chaos in parts of northern Europe, we are now in the midst of storm Antonia. Today we can expect winds of up to 100 km/h in the lowlands. Around 5 a.m. winds of up to 147 km/h were recorded in the mountains. The police have asked people to stay clear of forests or any wooded areas. We can also expect up to 60 cm of fresh snow in the mountains, which will heighten the risk of avalanches.

This weekend was the first one without any restrictions since the beginning of the pandemic, this meant that clubs were heaving, and in some cases even booked out. It will be interesting to see whether the numbers of cases spike in the coming weeks as a consequence.
