Enjoy jazz music with a difference! Accordionist Patricia Draeger created the Ala Fekra Project in Cairo, Egypt. It mixes jazz, folk, alpine and oriental influences and promises to be a surprising and entertaining evening. Friday January 20. Kulturmühle Horw.

The Luzerner Theater is showing the classic “Rosenkavalier” by Richard Strauss in a really fun staging. Mixing ages and styles it’s an innovative way of seeing this classical operette. Find out more here. The premiere is on Saturday January 21.

You have until this Sunday to enjoy the LiLu Festival, the feedback is that the Vivaldi concert (which only last 30 minutes) inside the Jesuitenkirche is well worth the CHF 15.- entrance fee. The rest of the festival is free and to be enjoyed all around downtown. Until January 22.

Fans big and small of the film Frozen are in for a treat as the film will be shown 4 times at the KKL this weekend. More details here.
