Farming Days at the Verkehrshaus

‘De la terre à la table’, from Earth to table! Join the Verkehrshaus from the 27 to 29 September where they are hosting Farming Days to showcase, celebrate and inform visitors about the farming industry in Switzerland. There will be a number of exhibitors and sponsors, along with a concert by the ‘Schwiizergoofe’ on Friday and Saturday at 5:30pm. It is set to be a fun and informative weekend for the whole family! The Lucerne World Band Festival

The largest music festival for brass music in Switzerland is taking place at the KKL in Lucerne from 21-29 September. There is a huge array of performances happening over the coming weekend, and tickets are still available to purchase through the website. This weekend includes the following: “Oberkrainer Alpenklänge” by Sašo Avsenik & his Oberkrainer, ‘Brass Fire Tour 2024’ by LaBrassBanda, “Beethoven 5” by Philharmonic Baden-Baden, and so much more.

Lozärner Oktoberfest

The Lucerne Octoberfest continues this weekend, with the event ending on Saturday 28th September. Taking place at the Eiszentrum, Horwerstrasse 87 in Lucerne, the evening will bring lively music, great food, and a taste of the ‘Oktoberfest’ atmosphere. Tickets are still available to buy online or at the door. Doors open at 17:00pm on Friday and Saturday.
