The local bus company VBL is changing its timetable on December 15, here are the main changes you need to know:
Line 1 Obernau – Kriens – Lucerne railway station – Ebikon Fildern
Bus service between Obernau via Lucerne railway station to Ebikon Fildern (without connection to Ebikon railway station) From Monday to Saturday the line runs continuously every 7.5 minutes, in the evening after 20 o’clock every 15 minutes. On Sunday the line runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. every 7.5 minutes, before and after every 15 minutes.
Line 2 Emmenbrücke Sprengi – Lucerne railway station
Clock changes on Sunday: From 12 to 19 o’clock now every 7.5 minutes, before and after every 15 minutes.
Line 4 Hubelmatt – Lucerne railway station
Clock changes on Sunday: new every 15 minutes instead of Ten minutes.
Line 6 Matthof – Lucerne railway station – Büttenenhalde
Clock changes on Sunday: New already from 8 o’clock to 20 o’clock all 15 minutes, before and after every 30 minutes as before.
Line 7 Biregghof – Lucerne Railway Station – Unterlöchli
Sunday changes: New every 15 minutes, from 12 to 19 o’clock every 10 minutes.
Line 8 Hirtenhof – Lucerne railway station – Würzenbach
Clock changes on Sunday: New already from 8 o’clock to 20 o’clock all 15 minutes, before and after every 30 minutes as before.
Line 9 Bramberg – Lucerne Railway Station
No longer compressed lunchtime on weekdays Starting at 8 p.m., every second course of the line 19 will then run via the Kantonsspital to Lucerne Bramberg (instead of the previous line 18).
Line 12 Littau Gasshof – Lucerne railway station
Clock changes on Saturday and Sunday: On Saturday the line 12 now runs until 8 p.m. every 10 minutes (previously until 5 p.m.). On Sunday, Line 12 runs every 15 minutes from 8 a.m. until the end of operation.
Line 14 Horw Zentrum – Lucerne railway station – Brüelstrasse
Extension Offer on weekdays from 22 o’clock and on Sunday: every 30 minutes to Horw Zentrum instead of Kriens Nidfeld.
!!Line 18 Friedental – Kantonsspital – Kreuzstutz – Lucerne Railway station!!
Discontinuation of line 18 due to the introduction of line 30
Line 19 Friedental – Kantonsspital – Schlossberg – Lucerne Railway Station
Clock changes due to the discontinuation of line 18 In the morning between 6 and 9 o’clock and in the afternoon between 15 and 20 o’clock every 7.5 minutes, during the day and on weekends every 10 minutes. In the morning before 6 a.m. and in the evening from 8 p.m. every 15 minutes.
Line 21 Lucerne Railway station – Chestnut tree – Horw Centre – Kriens Bus loop
Additional buses on Saturday and Sunday morning. In the evening after 8 p.m., line 21 ends in Horw Zentrum instead of at the Pilatusmarkt.
Line 22 Ebikon Station – Perlen (-Gisikon/Root Station)
Shortening of the line to Ebikon station Extension of the Perlen – Gisikon railway station line during peak hours. The line runs all day from Monday to Saturday until 8 p.m. at the 15-minute intervals, after 8:00, 30-minute intervals. On Sunday the line continuously every 30 minutes.
Line 23 Ebikon railway station – Gisikon/Root railway station – Gisikon farsightedness
Shortening of the line to Ebikon station Extension of the line throughout until Gisikon Far-sightedness The line runs all day from Monday to Saturday until 8 p.m. at the 15-minute intervals, after 8:00, 30-minute intervals. On Sunday the line continuously every 30 minutes.
!!New line 30 Littau railway station – Kantonsspital – Ebikon railway station!!
Introduction of a new tangential line, improved access to the Kantonspital. From Monday to Saturday the line runs from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. every 15 minutes, on Sunday every 30 minutes.
