The Integration Puzzle: Challenges and Opportunities

Immigration is on the rise, whereas 5 years ago the wave of immigrants came from war torn regions now we are seeing an ever more mobile world population by choice. People choose to immigrate for a variety of reason, be it work, personal or simply out of the desire to live somewhere else.

With this new and ever increasing wave of immigrants comes new questions about what a successful integration in local society looks like, and what the challenges and opportunities are for both the immigrants and the local population.

The LiLi Centre and Living in Luzern Organisatio believe that integration is not only down to the individual but that the business sector, employers and governments play a crucial role in helping with integration.

We have invited panelists to reflect on these challenges and opportunities, so be sure to join us for an inspiring discussion.

OUR SPONSORS:

We are happy to have ongoing support from the Hochschule Luzern and CAS International Leadership programme. We share the same value of building Intercultural conversation and dialogue between leaders, International residents, and organisations.

CAS International Leadership programme supports leaders in identifying and implementing the right solutions. To do so, the programme focuses on four core challenges of international leaders: How do I internationalize the DNA of my organization? What are the key success factors that need to be considered when conducting business internationally? How do I continuously develop my own intercultural competence? And how do I lead a diverse team of employees and external stakeholders, both in a direct and virtual fashion?

The programme Information Day is April 9th. If you like to learn more about the programme, please click the link or if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Ms. Céline Meyer, celine.meyer@hslu.ch

The Lucerne Business School has been awarded by the European Foundation for Quality Management EFQM with the European Label “Recognised for Excellence 5star”.
