At the Swiss Skills Academy (SSA), the team believes that international residents should have access to the tools that will help them be more competitive in the Swiss labour market. Basic skills training is an important element of the Swiss Skills Academy’s commitment to supporting the economic integration of international residents.
The Academy’s programme focuses on providing introductory and intermediate level modules in IT (Excel and Word), website design, creating marketing material, social media and personal branding, presentation skills and project management in order to increase the chances of adult learners to integrate into the job market.
Courses will start in March 2018. All modules will be structured in single sessions (3 hours) or two-part sessions (2.5 hours each) depending on the course. They will be based on lectures and interactive exercises led by experienced professionals. A special rate will be offered to those interested in taking all modules.
The ultimate goal is to provide practical courses while supporting the process of building a network of mentors, entrepreneurs, and peers that will remain in contact for years to come.
