connect, grow & thrive.

Staying Safe – Operation Nez Rouge!

With the festive season upon us, the number of parties we attend goes up exponentially, as does the amount of alcohol we consume. Before we know it, we’ve had one too many and it would be completely unwise to drive anywhere… this is when the Nez Rouge volunteers come in, they will chauffeur you home in your own car completely free.

Launched nationwide in 1990, this service has had a big success and has helped to substantially diminish road accidents. It is not only open to people who have had too much to drink, but also to those who suddenly feel unwell for whatever reason and in no state to drive.

The Nez Rouge action will begin on December 6 and 7, and then again from the 13 to 31 of December and runs from 22:00 till 02:00 on most days, 24 & 25 till 04:00 and on the 31 till 05:00.

The number to call is 0800 802 208

If you don’t drink but are interested in volunteering as a Nez Rouge Chauffeur then the number to contact is:  041 630 18 12
