Sörenberg: a family friendly traditional ski resort

If you are looking for a ski resort which is both typically Swiss and family friendly, then the Sörenberg ski area is the place for you.

Situated up to 2350 metres above sea level with 53 km of slopes ranging from beginner slopes to advanced, 17 lifts, perfectly prepared slopes and stunning views, Sörenberg is a little piece of skiing heaven within easy reach of Lucerne. The atmosphere in the village is decidedly Swiss, it is a favourite amongst locals wanting to get away from the more touristy ski resorts.

The wide slopes in the village are ideal for beginners and families with children. Children can also have fun in the ski and snowboard school Kids Village or in the Snowli course.

Freestylers are not forgotten and can enjoy skiing the Rossweid area.

You will also find more challenging skiing in the Eisee ski area on the Brienzer Rothorn, this is where advanced skiers and freestylers can really enjoy themselves, whilst taking in the view on the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

If all you fancy is a walk in the snow then a CHF 10.- return ticket will get you up to the Rothorn and back.

There is nothing stopping you from making the most of the ski season this winter.

The ski reason will be having it’s Season Opening Party on December 16th and they are giving away 2 tickets worth CHF 104.- to the winners of our competition. Stay tuned to find out more!
