Our favourite spas in the region

There really is nothing nicer on a cold wintery day than to head for a spa and indulge in some luxurious pampering. Here are a few of our favourites.

Rigi Kaltbad Mineral Bad

People have been enjoying the special mineral waters here for over 600 years, but the venue has been recently refurbished and is wonderfully luxurious with a spectacular scenery. The train ride up adds to the charm and feeling of really getting away. Entrance fee: CHF 35.- Website

Swiss Holiday Park

Nestled in Morschach, the Swiss Holiday Park is a family favourite. Not only because of the great slides (for the kids) and the wonderful baths; sitting under a starry night enjoying a bubble bath is just magic, but also for its sauna, Hamman area and its Roman-Irish Thermal Baths. An added plus is the small ski area right next door. The hotel also offers lots of activities for big and small, making this a great getaway 30 minutes from Luzern. Entrance fee from CHF 20. More information here.
