This event will be hosted by Project Childbirth. More about the group:

We are a group of women from all over the world who ended up meeting each other in central Switzerland. Hearing the experiences around us we realised there should be a support net for all the women who decide to have their children, especially away from home and in an environment which requires a different language. Our project was born out of a wish to build a more supported journey to motherhood in Switzerland.

Oct. 16 – New Moon Meditation

This is the time when creativity, intention setting ability and positive energy is at its highest. Let us use this opportunity to energize, connect with ourselves, clarify our goals for the upcoming month, and step powerfully into this new cycle. What do you want to create in your life? Do you want to be healthier? Do you want to make a change? Is there something in your life you want more of? This is the perfect time to get clarity and move forward.

Oct. 17 – Dress for Success

What do I wear for my interview? How should I style my hair? How much make-up is too much make-up? Does less make-up mean I don’t take this seriously?

Do you have these questions while you are getting ready for an important meeting? Don’t fret! Join our YET Dress for Success Event and we will answer them for you!

Whether your intentions are to secure a job with a major corporation or getting ready for the pitch of your lifetime, research shows that dressing up appropriately instills confidence, big picture thinking and attracts positive attention. This effect is even stronger when individuals are perceived to be dressed better than their peers. Creating a first impression is important and it takes someone only 7 seconds to have a first impression about someone on a first meeting.

We only get that one chance to make a first impression. So, dress with intention and authenticity, regardless of the dress code. Kathy Patellis-Schmit, founder of Style-Etc. is here to tell you how.

During the workshop we will discuss:

  • Clothing selection
  • Style
  • Preparation
  • Hygiene
  • Footwear
  • Accessories

Guest Speaker: Kathy Patellis-Schmidt
