November will be a busy month at the Centre! We have lots of great new events taking place including art classes for all ages, book clubs, and our Mental Health Initiative which is slowly growing offering the chance to teenagers to express themselves through colour, music and movement.
Christmas is almost here so we are happy to announce that on December 4th we will be starting the second annual Pop Up Market and hosting a Christmas International Dinner, that evening, so hope to see you there!
Don’t forget to check our weekly menu for a delicious lunch and our website for our regular activities and sign up to your favorite event.
As for the new Covid regulations, the certificate check is required (along with a valid ID) for events with 30 people or more and, if drinks or foods are being served inside the centre.
On a day-to-day basis anyone can visit the centre provided you register upon arrival, wear a mask whilst circulating in the centre and keep social distance.
5. November – Feel Good Friday
Begin this new month by attending Feel Good Friday! This event is a perfect combination of meditation and personal growth techniques, created to support you in thriving. If you are looking to permanently reduce stress levels, gain clarity, and confidently move forward, this event is for you.

15. October – Grief Support Group (ONLINE)
A safe space to connect and heal ONLINE

8. November – International Book Club
How about getting together once a month to discuss novels featuring different countries and cultures by authors from all over the world? We will make our way around the globe, exploring and exchanging our thoughts.
Our International Book Club will meet again on November 8. The book for November will be Thirty Days, by Annelies Verbeke.

11. November – Zumba Gold Class
Please join our Zumba Gold class each Thursday at The LiLi Centre. This easy to follow, low impact workout is just what you need to get your blood flowing. No experience is needed, and all levels are welcome to this -I Gotto Move To This music class. Be prepared to have fun and leave wanting more.

13. November – Autumn Trip to Zug
Who is joining us to this nice late afternoon / evening in the colorful forest of Chiemen with the opportunity to swim in Lake Zug before dark, followed by warming up around a camp fire? We look forward to a cozy get-together!
Arrival: individually or from Lucerne with public transport + 30 min walk
Departure Lucerne: 15:06 with S3 to Küssnacht, change 15:31 to Bus No. 22 to Immensee Dorf (arrival 15:41), walk to Chiemen

27. November – Acrylic Painting Workshop
Have you always wanted to catch up with your artistic skills or inclinations but didn’t really get the chance? Maybe it’s time you give it a chance and join us for a relaxing Painting class with artist Amalia Maciuca. She will teach you the basic steps of painting in a friendly atmosphere where you can learn and make new friends.

27 & 28. November – LWTC
Full of optimism the Lucerne World Theatre Company is back and looking forward to experience lots of Christmas cheer with their children’s theatre production. This year they will be showing their very own production of “The Twisted Tales of a Toothless Monster”. A fun look at traditional tales with a twist. Be sure to get your tickets early as there is limited seating.
4. December – Christmas Pop Art Market
Yes, we are doing a Christmas Pop Art Market this year, too! After the great success we experienced last year we are happy to exhibit your products within our space. Please contact membership@lilicentre before November 16 so we can save you a spot for the Market.
The first day of the Market will be on December 4 at 12:00 up until 5 pm so Save the Date and come by to buy the perfect Christmas gift. It will remain open until December 17 and will be open during Lili Centre visiting hours 9:00 am – 13:00 pm.
