Summer is here and the LiLi Centre will remain open through the month of July, only taking a two week break from July 31. to August 16.
This July at the LiLi Centre:
- Information Coffee Mornings will only be held on Wednesday mornings from 9.30 to 11.30.
- Wednesday 7. July will be the last BBQ until after the summer break.
- Plant. takeaway will also be taking a break (due to return middle of August)

Runs until 10. July – AF Pop Up Market
For the first time Alliance française de Lucerne invites you to come and discover French craftsmanship at the AF Pop Up Market. From mustard of Vexin to UV-resistant beach clothing for adults and children, soaps, interactive board games for children & leather goods and bow ties. Do not hesitate to come and take a little tour!
Daily from from 9:00 – 13:00.

Friday 2. July – Feel Good Friday
Begin this new month by attending Feel Good Friday! This event is a perfect combination of meditation and personal growth techniques, created to support you in permanently breaking through negativity and significantly reduce stress. Time: 19:30 – 21:00
Cost: Suggested donation to the LiLi Centre of CHF 15.- per person

Saturday 3. July – Karaoke
Karaoke as we all love it: Choose a song, sing it and if you wish, ask others to sing along with you. The event is hosted by Verein zusammen. We bring people together no matter where they come from, to have fun and sing together in many different languages. Water and snacks will be provided for at no charge. Other drinks can be purchased from the LiLi Centre bar.

Our International Book Club will meet again on Monday 5. July. The book for July is “The Migrant Painter of Birds” by L Jorge.
Saturday 10. July – Painting Workshop
Have you always wanted to catch up with your artistic skills or inclinations but didn’t really get the chance? Maybe it’s time you give it a chance and join us for a relaxing painting class with artist Amalia Maciuca. She will teach you the basic steps of painting in a friendly atmosphere where you can learn and make new friends.

12. – 16. July – Inspirational ART Summer Camp
Inspirational ART Summer Camp for Kids, aged 04 through 10, run by Artists be Creative*, is a fun way for children to make friends, immerse themselves in creativity and most importantly have fun with other children who share their interests!! Inspirational ART Summer Camp is a specialised Art School offering Art Classes in the morning with fun adventurous activities in the afternoon. This price includes all materials and entrance fees (excluding lunches).

Saturday 24. July – Drawing Workshop
Learning how to draw can be a very important step in your process of creation. During our drawing classes you will learn how to use some basic techniques in order to build a portrait or use the proper types of shading.
