Get ready for a spooktacular evening of family fun, creativity, costumes, and community spirit
This Halloween, the LiLi Centre and the Swiss American Society Lucerne (SASL) are joining forces to bring the Lucerne community together for a special celebration for children, families, and adults alike. Come dressed in your favourite Halloween costume and enjoy an afternoon and evening filled with creative activities, sweet treats, face painting, decorated cars, dinner, games, and plenty of Halloween magic! Our little ghosts and ghouls can get creative with Halloween crafts, decorate cupcakes and mugs, have their faces transformed with spooky designs, and take part in our exciting Trunk or Treat experience.
In the evening, adults can enjoy dinner, drinks, games, and a Halloween party atmosphere!
Trunk or Treat
One of the highlights of the evening will be our Trunk or Treat! Park in front of the LiLi Centre and transform your trunks into creative Halloween-themed trick-or-treat stations.
Children and families can walk from car to car collecting treats and admiring all the spooky, funny, and imaginative decorations.
Think you can create the best Halloween trunk? We’ll also be awarding a prize for Best Decorated Car!

15:30 – Halloween Crafts by Studio Lucerne
Calling all little witches, ghosts, monsters and creative creatures! Join Hayley from Studio Lucerne for spooky arts and crafts designed especially for our Halloween celebration. Get creative, make something magical, and enjoy a fun introduction to the creative workshops that Studio Lucerne will be bringing back to the LiLi Centre in the New Year.
17:00 – Cupcake Decorating & Mug Making
Get creative with two delicious and crafty Halloween activities! Decorate your own spooky cupcake and create a Halloween-inspired mug to take home. Perfect for little artists, crafty adults, and anyone who loves a bit of Halloween creativity.
17:30 – Trunk or Treat Preparation
Time for our participating cars to get ready! Decorate your trunks, set up your treats, and transform your car into a spooky, silly, or spectacular Halloween creation before the trick-or-treating begins.
18:00 – Trunk or Treat Begins!
The Halloween fun officially begins! Children and families can make their way along our decorated car route, collecting treats and discovering the creative trunk decorations. Don’t forget to check out the cars competing for Best Decorated Car!
19:00 – Dinner at the LiLi Centre
After all that trick-or-treating, it’s time to refuel! Come together for a relaxed community dinner at the LiLi Centre, enjoy some good food, and spend time connecting with friends, families, and new faces.
19:30 – Halloween Party & Charades for Adults
Once the little ghosts have had their fun, the adults can keep the Halloween spirit going! Join us for a relaxed Halloween evening with charades, drinks, laughter, and good company. Come in costume and get ready for some friendly competition and plenty of laughs!
