Having taken part in a panel discussion about intercultural relationships got me thinking about how we define what the make-up of our cultural identity is.
If, like me, you are a hodgepodge of nationalities and have lived in many places then perhaps the time has come to admit that you fit nowhere and everywhere at the same time and be proud to announce that you are a member of the Unique Republic of You! I see a clear distinction between your birth place, where you grow up, the nationalities you hold and the culture you identify with. Listen to my podcast where I elaborate on the subject.
