Easter in and around Lucerne

It is that time of the year again and we are delighted to share with you some wonderful ways to celebrate Easter this year.

For people wishing to celebrate the Christian meaning of Easter, the Catholic English Church of Lucerne will have its Holy Week services:

  • Holy Thursday (April 14th): 5.00 p.m.
  • Good Friday (April 15th): 3 p.m.
  • Easter Vigil (April 16th): 7.30 p.m.

For many Easter is more about celebrating the renewal of spring and includes lots of chocolate and family outings here are some ideas for you.

For chocolate lovers, here is a post with loads of chocolate hotspots!

Like every year the nature museum is offering children the chance to see baby chicks up close and personal.

Of course, our two favorite mountains are gorgeous this time of year!

Take a round trip (boat and cable car) to visit the Queen of the mountains: Rigi.

Or visit the stunning Pilatus, enjoying the Dragon Moor and Piluland.

As Mother Earth wakes up from her slumber, this is a wonderful time to go outside and enjoy the beauty of the newly bloomed flowers.
