No artistic background is needed, just curiosity and openness.

In this hands-on weekly workshop, students will learn how video games actually work while designing their own interactive projects using Scratch, a beginner-friendly programming platform developed by MIT.

No prior coding experience needed, just curiosity!

Each session is practical, creative, and self-contained, meaning students can join at any time without feeling behind.

 Over the weeks, participants will:

  • Build their own Quiz Game (with scoring systems, lives & randomised questions)
  • Create a playable Piano / Instrument Game
  • Design a classic Pong-style arcade game
  • Develop a Reaction Time Challenge inspired by “Where Is Waldo?”
  • Program a 2-Player Multiplayer Boxing Game with health points and special features

As skills grow, games can become more advanced, adding obstacles, superpowers, timers, and more.

Thursday 30. April: Do I have to want this? Exploring Identity, Success and Life Choices Abroad

Many of us build our lives by following what we believe we must do. From the outside, everything may look right — a career, stability, a life that works. Yet many people quietly sense that something inside them wants to move. In this reflective workshop, based on his book Do I Have to Want This?, life coach and author Stavros Roumeliotis invites participants to explore the tension between what we feel we must do and what we truly want. Especially relevant for expats, partners and professionals, the session offers a space for reflection, awareness and more conscious life choices.
