We are Miruna and Ilinca Anton and we are happy to introduce ourselves. We are two young entrepreneurs, more specifically 22 years old who just finished their studies in the hospitality industry and got the incredible opportunity of taking over a restaurant. That is how a dream came true for us and our careers took off right from the start. We are from Romania and spent our childhoods there, however, after attending a summer camp in beautiful Switzerland, we fell in love with it and felt that we could call it home. We decided to come here to get specialized in the hospitality industry. We graduated with BA Degrees in Hospitality and Global Business Management, with great work experience after our internships that have been successful on the swiss market.
The hospitality in Switzerland has reached another level, the high standards and attention to each and every detail as well as the demanding guests always challenge us to exceed their expectations. These are the main reasons we decided to start our career in hospitality here.
We are following our passion and living the dream. I think these would be the main words to describe Antons. Doing what we love the most and putting passion into everything has helped us build up our restaurant, called Antons, a restaurant that aims to bring what is missing on the restaurants market of Luzern at the moment, for instance: the possibility of having a colorful, tasty, unique and healthy brunch at the end of the week, a wide variety of gluten-free and vegan options, enjoying a well-balanced and fairly-priced business lunch during your work break and spending a pleasant evening accompanied by our a la carte delicacies, as well as wines perfectly matched that could be recommended by our professional sommelier.
The restaurant offers international cuisine, focusing on having everything homemade. What is more, Antons is not only a restaurant, but a cocktail bar as well. Signature cocktails that could be found only at the Antons as well as a great variety of drinks starting from rare wines to all around the world spirits. The bartending show is taken by a well-experienced and trained bartender, being recognized for his several awards on the bartending scene. All of them are happening in an entertaining, relaxing ambiance, taking you away from the day-to-day routines. Moreover, live events take place every now and then, from live music nights to wine and food pairing evenings, supported by talented local musicians, artists, and hospitality professionals.
Antons restaurant started operating on 31st of July and is located on Hirschengraben 45/47, 6003, Luzern. It provides its customers with a lovely spacious terrace in the back, that can be accessed from Bruchstrasse.
There are several aspects that our restaurant focuses on, more specifically: innovation, food quality and freshness, uniqueness, guest experience, owners’ involvement as well as staff engagement and commitment.
