On Saturday evening the LiLi Centre will be celebrating all things Scottish with a traditional Burn’s Night dinner. Burns Night, a party in honour of the famed Scottish poet Robert Burns, is celebrated on or around the poet’s birthday on Jan. 25. The traditional celebration includes haggis (real and vegetarian), Scottish whisky, kilts and ceilidh music. There will be plenty of other Scottish specialties and side dishes cooked up by Scots—a real Burns feast! From 19:00 – 22:00. Be sure to sign up in advance.
Also on Saturday evening, ’80’s Forever’ at the Bourbaki Kino/Bar (Löwenplatz 11, 6004 Luzern) is a party for those who like the original sound of the 80s! Over 18’s only. Find out more here.
Herzblut Fashion (Zürichstrasse 73) will be hosting a ‘Vintage Hair and Make Up Workshop’ on Sunday starting at 11:00. You will learn all about popular hairdos from the 40’s and 50’s as well as how to apply your make up to look the part! The workshop costs CHF 89.- per person (including a glass of bubbly on arrival).
